Francheska Farr as Top Pinay Model in Seoul, Korea

HOW DID FRENCHESKA Farr feel when her version of “Suddenly It’s Magic” as theme song of “My Valentine Girls” was replaced by that of Lovi Poe? “It’s understandable kasi si Lovi is part of the cast as one of Richard Gutierrez’ leading ladies,” she says. “Friend kami ni Lovi dahil nagkakasama kami sa ‘Party Pilipinas’, so walang problema dun. Also, my version of the song, nandun naman sa debut album ko at puedeng pakinggan ninuman anytime. Ako rin naman ang kumanta ng theme song ng ‘Tween Hearts’.”

Frencheska was surprised when she was chosen by Asian Model Awards to represent the Philippines in Seoul, Korea. “Maraming portfolios daw ang pinadala ng GMA Artist Center and akong napili. It’s really an honor dahil when I saw the female models from other countries, ang tatangkad nila, mga 5’9” and 5’10”. E, ako, 5’8” lang. Yun nga lang, my edge is that they made me sing at natuwa naman ako dahil I saw Koreans dancing as I was singing.”

A highlight of her trip was when she saw Jerry Yan of “Meteor Garden” representing Taiwan. “I can feel ayaw niyang magpakuha basta ng picture sa ibang tao but when I told him Pinay ako, he quickly agreed to have his foto taken with me.”
