Dennis Trillo Busy Doing So Many Movies, Talks About The Real Score Between Him & Jennylyn Mercado

DENNIS TRILLO turned 34 on May 12, but he looks much younger than his age. GMA-7 is preparing a new soap for him after “Hiram na Alaala”, as he’s one of their premiere actors, but Dennis is now so busy shooting several movies. First is “You’re Still the One” where he’s paired with Maja Salvador, a co-production between Star Cinema and Regal Entertainment, directed by Chris Martinez. They’re supported by Richard Yap, Ellen Adarna, Snooky Serna, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Lito Pimentel, Melai Cantiveros and Jason Fernandez. This will be shown in theatres on May 27.

Then he’s also shooting the Iglesia ni Kristo movie, “Sugo”, where he plays the title role of Sugo, directed by Joel Lamangan. This has a July playdate. For Viva Films, he is paired with Anne Curtis for the first time in an episode of the trilogy, “Lumayo Ka Nga sa Akin”.

About his lovelife, he says speculations that he and ex-GF Jennylyn Mercado have reconciled are most certainly not true. “Although we’re better friends now, hindi totoong nagkabalikan na kami,” he says. “It’s true we’ve both matured. Siempre, sa paglipas ng panahon, mas lumalawak ang kaisipan ng mga tao. Ako, mas peaceful na, so I think mas magandang kung anuman ang nangyayari sa amin ngayon, hayaan na lang muna nating ganoon. Wag na lang na­ting pangunaha­n ang mga bagay­-bagay. Mas maganda­ ‘yung unti-unt­i muna siyang bubuuin at wag madaliin.”

While he’s busy with Maja in “You’re Still the One”, Jen herself is busy shooting a new movie, “Prenup”, with Sam Milby for Regal Entertainment. It’s directed by Jun Lana and will have some scenes shot on location in New York, USA no less.
