TV 5 prefers getting younger stars

TV 5 EXECUTIVES are just smiling over rumors that they are pirating this or that star. After Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, it's said that the stars they're now pirating ang Dolphy and Maricel Soriano. But someone told us this is not true as they're not getting any old stars. TV 5 execs want new and young stars for today's young and hip generation. "Masakit man ang dating, hindi raw sila kumukuha ng matatanda," adds our informer. "Sina Dolphy at Maricel, kahit may contract pa sa ABS, hindi na nga binibigyan ng projects kasi mababa ang ratings ng last shows nila. Mas sumusugal sila sa newer stars like Kim and Gerald, Maja Salvador, Erich Gonzales. Dun sa iba nagtatagumpay sila, pero meron ding hindi ganun ka-successful, like yung attempt nila i-launch si Bangs Garcia. So ganun din ang TV5, they want to bank on newer younger stars."
