ANGELICA CERVANTES and Hershie de Leon are Vivamax bombshells both managed by producer Len Carillo who now pairs them in “Home Service”.
In the movie, Hershie plays a working student who finances her studies by working as a masseuse who offers home service to her clients.
She then meets Angelica, who asks for her services then offers her to work as a model for her and her boyfriend, Mon Mendoza.
It turns out that Angelica will just use Hershie to be a cybersex model and they will be arrested by the cops headed by Vance Larena who also takes advantage of the poor Hershie.
We saw Angelica in “An Affair to Forget” where she acted well as Sunshine Cruz’ long lost daughter.
What can she say now that she plays a contravida role in “Home Service”?
“Okay naman for me to tackle all sorts of roles para mas mahasa ako,” she says.
“I enjoy contravida roles kasi they’re challenging. As a villain, you give conflict and color to the story.”
What is her best scene in the movie?
“My best scene is definitely my last scene. I cannot reveal what it is about, kasi spoiler at malalaman na ang ending, but it’s very mentally and emotionally draining.
"I got very good feedback, but kahit tapos na ang scene, I was still so affected. So si Vance Larena talked to me at pinakalma ko. He said, hubarin mo yung character mo. Huwag mo nang dalhin pa.”
How is it working with Hershie?
“It’s good we have the same manager kaya comfortable na kami sa isa’t isa. Si Hershie, masarap talaga magmasahe, kasi she massaged me sa isang eksena at magaling siya.”
“Home Service” is directed by Me-An Asuncion Dagnalan. How is it?
“Siya po ang first director ko na babae and mas maingat siya in handling us sa sexy scenes. Tinatanong muna niya kung hanggang saan puede ang magagawa namin.
"Sa gay directors, mas mga puwet ng lalaki ang ipinapakita, but kay Direk Me-An, equal ang exposure namin ng guys.”
She dreams of playing more wholesome roles in the future.
“Gusto ko ng grumaduate sa sexy films. I want to try naman comedy, action, or horror. Puede pa rin namang magpa-sexy, huwag lang yung sobrang dami ng sex scenes.
"Feeling ko, quota na ako dyan, e. I want to do naman some good roles that will bring out the best in my acting.
"I want to try yung role na, akala mo, wala lang siya, pero ang laki pala ng impact ng character niya sa story.”
Like Angelica, Hershie dreams of leaving sexy roles and do some serious dramatic films someday.
“Siempre, excited din akong maka-graduate sa sexy films and do other kinds of films.
"But I know that I have to do more acting workshops para makarating ako sa ganun, so now I’m trying to gain more experience in every film they give me.”
She says she is able to relate with her role in “Home Service”.
"LIke her, I started as a working student, pero nakakapagod siya talaga at struggle talaga, so focus muna ako sa acting ngayon.
"It’s nice to work with a female director in ‘Home Service’ kasi I feel more comfortable with her, she guides us well and takes good care of us in the bedscenes.
"My most challenging scene here is yung threesome with Angelica and her boyfriend, Mon.
"I thought I couldn’t do it but with the help of Direk Me-An, naitawid naman namin nang maayos ang eksena.
"Abangan nyo when ‘Home Service’ starts streaming on Vivamax on Friday, July 14.”
