SARAH GERONIMO is celebrating the first anniversary of her wedding at BGC to Matteo Guidicelli this Saturday, February 20.
So how are thing so far?
“Very rewarding naman but also challenging din ang married life,” she says in an interview in a Viva show.
“But as a whole, I can say the marriage itself is a blessing. An opportunity for you to spend the rest of your life with the person you have chosen na makasama sa buhay, your partner in life.”
What are the challenges she has encountered?
“Sa situation ko kasi, parang it’s a big leap towards adulting. All my life kasi, I’m sheltered by my parents. But I guess it’s long overdue. I guess ito talaga ang naging plano ni Lord for me.”
She has to learn how to adjust.
“May adjustments na dapat gawin as you have to make decisions not only for yourself but also for the two of you. Pero it’s all part of it naman, as you become one, so I can say I’m very happy with my life so far.”
So what happened to their plan to have a bigger second wedding where they will invite more guests?
“Pinagpaplanuhan namin talaga yun, but the pandemic came so we have to put all our plans on hold. So saka na lang pag wala ng virus”
Some folks have concluded that she must be infanticipating and this is the reason why she is not so visible lately.
“Naku, hindi pa po. Help us na lang pray kay Lord na, sana nga, magkatotoo na. 32 na ako, e, kaya I can feel na kaya ko na at ready na talaga akong maging mother and I promise to be a very good one.”
