KAPUSO MOVIE MARATHON THIS SUNDAY FEATURES THE COMEDY 'BABY GENIUSES' & THE HORROR DRAMA, 'THE DIPLOMAT HOTEL'

TWO EXCITING MOVIES are featured in this Sunday’s GMA Network weekend movie marathon. First is “Baby Geniuses” on Kapuso Movie Festival, followed by “The Diplomat Hotel” in GMA Blockbusters.

“Baby Geniuses” is a rollicking comedy for the whole family where two scientists, Dr. Elena Kinder and Dr.Heep, kidnap super intelligent baby geniuses and hold them captive to be used in their Babyco Theme Park.

But things take a turn for the worse when there’s a merry mix up between a baby genius and its twin.

The star-studded cast include Kathleen Turner, Christopher Lloyd, Kim Catrall, Dom Dekuise, Peter MacNicol, Ruby Dee, Kayle Ballar and Kaye Howard. This movie was such a big hit that it even had a sequel a few years later.

“The Diplomat Hotel” is a horror drama filmed on location in the famous hotel in Dominican Hill in Baguio City that is said to be haunted.

The story follows disgraced reporter, played by Gretchen Barretto in her last movie role, who spends one night inside the hotel with her crew to do a documentary and personally experience terrifying things during their stay there.

Also in the cast are Joel Torre, Art Acuna, Mon Confiado, Sue Prado and Nico Antonio, directed by the late Christopher Ad. Castillo.

Tune in this Sunday on Kapuso Movie Festival after Taste Buddies and GMA Blockbusters after Dear Uge, on GMA-7.
