The Aldub 'My Bebe Love' Float Is The Most Popular, Most Sought After Float In The Parade Of Stars

PROOF THAT the AlDub tandem is the most popular love team today is the fact that the float of their movie, “My Bebe Love, #Kilig Pa More”, was the most sought after float in the recent Parade of Stars. Their fans were really running after their float. At some points, some fans even became quite unruly and were blocking the way.

“Hinaharangan nila yung float kaya hindi makadaan,” reports someone who was with them on board the float. “We had to get extra security people and even motorcycle cops to see to it that the crowds who are running after the float will not impede the flow of the parade. Sa lahat ng floats, sila talaga ang pinakamalakas ang hatak dahil dinudumog at hinahabol sila ng mga tao. May mga hinimatay pa dahil ayaw tumigil sa kahahabol sa karosa.”

It was Maine Mendoza aka Yaya Dub’s first movie and it’s also her first time to join the Parade of Star and ride on a float. “Grabe, ganun pala, sobrang nakakatuwa ang mga tao,” she says. “Ang sarap ng feeling na naa-appreciate nila kami.”

Now, if all their millions of fans would troop to the theatres during the run of “My Bebe Love”, then that means their adulation would have been translated into huge box office success. But if it's any indication, the huge crowds who attended their films premiere night and who were lining up at the theaters where their movie started showing yesterday, then, for sure, “My Bebe Love” will indeed be the top grossing entry in the Metro Filmfest, just as everyone predicted. We heard APT Entertainment are now planning their next movie where they’ll go truly solo, without big stars to support them like Vic Sotto and Ai Ai de las Alas.

“This will be a very unforgettable year for us ni Maine,” adds Alden. “Sobrang dami ng magandang nangyari sa buhay at career namin at sobrang dami rin ng blessings na natanggap namin.”

But they’re not together this Christmas since Maine is spending the holidays in Japan with her family. She will be back by the New Year to make sure the successful Kalyeserye continues to shine in 2016.
