Diana Zubiri Weds Fil-Aussie Model Boyfriend On Mother's Day, At 30, Plays Mother Role To Mark Neumann In 'Baker King'

DIANA ZUBIRI was understandably absent in the presscon of TV5’s “Baker King” where she plays an important role as the missing mother that title-roler Mark Neumann is searching for all his life. After all, she’s currently in honeymoon after her wedding last Sunday, Mother’s Day, to Mossimo Bikini contest 2007 winner Andrew Smith who’s originally from Adelaide, South Australia. The civil wedding was held at Sampaguita Gardens. One of the sponsors from showbiz are Seiko Producer Robbie Tan who discovered Diana and introduced her in films like “Itlog”, “Bakat” and “Liberated”. She won a best actress award from the Young Critics Circle in 2012 for the indie film “Bahay Bata”. Other sponsors are her manager-writer friend Jojo Gabinete, Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez, and writer Shirley Pizarro.

Diana turned 30 on April 15 so she’s now 30 years old. This is her second marriage after she became a widow some years ago when her first husband, a Chinese businessman, passed due to a terminal disease. Among her guests are her co-stars in the hit show she did with GMA-7, “Etheria”, Iza Calzado and Karylle, plus their director, Mark Reyes. Diana will have to shorten her honeymoon as she’s now taping for “Baker King” that will start airing on Monday, 9:30 PM on TV5.
