Stars Of GMA-7 Three Primetime Soaps Will Do A Rigodon And Appear In Each Other's Shows

TONIGHT, THERE’S something special and extraordinary that will happen in GMA-7 three primetime shows: “Anna Karenina”, “Mundo Mo’y Akin” and “My Husband’s Lover”. Some characters will do a rigodon, cross over and appear in each other’s shows. Find out who these characters that will do the surprising transfer or “lipatan” will be on GMA Telebabad starting tonight.

And since it’s rating well, “My Husband’s Lover” has been extended until October. Being considered to replace it is Dingdong Dantes’ new show, “Genesis”. The two other GMA-7 primetime shows are “Anna Karenina” and “Mundo Mo’y Akin”. “Mundo” will definitely end on September 6 and will be replaced by Lovi Poe’s “Akin Pa Rin ang Bukas” on September 9. “Anna Karenina” will run until the end of September. The 6 PM show, “Binoy Henyo”, will end on September 9 and will be replaced by the Kris Bernal-Aljur Abrenica soap, now titled “Prinsesa ng Buhay Ko” and no longer “Prinsesa ng Masa” so that it won’t be confused with a similarly sounding show on ABS.

In its afternoon prime, the show that will end in September is Bianca King’s “Maghihintay Pa Rin”, to be replaced by “Bayarang Puso” with Heart Evangelista and Sid Lucero. Another new show to be launched soon is “Dormitoryo” on Sunday afternoons, with Lauren Young and Joyce Ching.

Going back to “My Husband’s Lover”, even before the show ends, Mother Lily Monteverde wants two of its lead stars, Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez, to start shooting their movie with Regal Entertainment, tentatively titled “Let’s Take a Chance”. Dennis Trillo will not be part of the cast. In his stead, the third wheel will be played by JC De Vera.

This is not a gay love story but a romantic-comedy to be directed by Jun Lana. Tom Rodriguez is happy that this is more a traditional romantic film because the other movie he is shooting, “BekiKang” for Viva, is also about a gay character played by Joey Paras, with him as leading man.
