“I first appeared as myself in ‘Magpakailanman’s’ Katrina Halili Story’,” she says. “Pero itong sa ‘Indio’, iba na ito kasi regular na uli ang taping ko. Medyo naninibago ako kasi nga may baby na ako, but I’d like to thank everyone in the show kasi they made me feel comfortable from Day One. My baby was born on September 18 last year. Seven months na siya ngayon kaya puede na akong magtrabaho uli.”
Her role in “Indio” is that of the villain Diwata ng Pagkaganid or the Goddess of Greed, the sister of Paiburong (Mike Gayoso) who Bong Revilla as Indio has slain. Katrina learns from Sidapa, the Diwata ng Kamatayan (Ryan Eigenmann), that Indio killed her brother and she vows revenge. But first, she has to face Diwatang Magayon (Rhian Ramos) who’ll defend Indio. Meantime, Indio is about to meet again with Esperanza (Jennylyn Mercado).
