Solenn Heussaff At Her Most Daring Best In 'Seduction' As A 'Baliw' Character

THE FIRST thing Solenn Heussaff did upon coming home from her two-week vacation in Argentina is to watch her new film “Seduction”.

“Direk Peque Gallaga did a very good job,” she says. “You haven’t seen something like this in the Philippines. It’s so different from the other movies about kabits and infidelity. I like my performance. I feel I’ve improved a lot. I’m so proud of it and all the people I’ve worked with.”

Based on the trailer, she did quite some daring bedscenes with Richard Gutierrez. How far did she go? “I’m very aggressive here with Richard. I did a lot of things I haven’t done before. When I trust the people I work with, I do everything they ask me to do. My character here, Sophia, is quite baliw. Everyone naman can be a little bit baliw when you’re so in love. It has happened to me before, but not naman as baliw as my character in the film.”

We ask Direk Peque how he’d assess Solenn’s performance? “She totally delivered. I’m so impressed that I told Roselle Monteverde I’d like to work with her again in my next movie with Regal.”

“You know, when Anne Curtis learned Direk Peque will direct me, she said ‘You’re so lucky as he’s my director in my first movie.’ I didn’t know Direk at all so I googled him and I learned that he’s a very much respected director. I’m so honored to work with him.”
