Louise De Los Reyes Defends Bf Enzo Pineda From Detractors Who Say He'S Gay

LOUISE DE LOS REYES is one star we admire. Despite her busy showbiz sked, she hasn’t neglected her college studies. She’ll graduate next year from her foreign service course at Lyceum. After that, she wants to take up law, preferably in UP. “I’ve always valued the importance of higher education para pag wala na ko sa showbiz, I can have another career,” she says.

Fans of her love team with Alden Richards want to know if she has no feelings for him at all. “Okay kami ni Alden but di ako mahilig sa mga tisoy. Mas gusto kong moreno.”

After “One True Love” (now being reshown in the morning), she shot a horror flick, “Basement”, directed by Topel Lee, where she plays an offbeat role. “I play a tomboy na drug addict kaya nadala sa basement. Kasama ko sina Aljur Abrenica, Enzo Pineda, Sarah Lahbati, Kristofer Martin, Ellen Adarna, Chynna Ortaleza, Betong Sumaya.”

So she’s paired with BF Enzo Pineda? “No, he’s with Sarah and I’m with Kristofer. Magkakaiba kami ng stories. Enzo and I are paired in an episode of ‘Maynila’ to be shown next Saturday.”

How does she feel about aspersions that Enzo is gay, like a recent item saying he smelled the underwear of another actor in the dressing room?

“I told him, aawayin ko ‘to, but he said wag na lang patulan as we know the truth. It came out as a blind item pero so identifiable na siya. Ako, pinagtanggol ko siya sa Twitter. It’s impossible kasi magkasama kami ng dressing room sa itaas ng studio with Alden and Ate Marian (Rivera), and that actor na sinasabing inamoy niya yung briefs, nasa dressing room sa ibaba. Ni hindi sila nagkikita. I think sinisiraan si Enzo kasi he’s well bred, may manners as he’s raised well by his parents. Bunso kasi siya, baby sa family nila kaya prim and proper, but definitely not gay.”

The youngest in three kids and the only girl, she said she’d know if someone is gay. “Di hindi pinapasok sa bahay namin ng brothers ko at parents ko si Enzo kung gay siya.”

How does she feel when Enzo parades on the ramp in skimpy briefs like in the Cosmo and Bench shows? “Okay lang, maganda naman ang katawan niya at pinaghirapan niya. But I told him hinay-hinay lang, baka later on wala na siyang maipakita.”
