Baron Geisler doesn't drink anymore

BARON GEISLER was at the birthday party of Mother Lily and sang two songs. He later approached our table and personally greeted all the writers seated there. We learned he is in the cast of Regal’s next movie offering, “Pridyider”, co-starring with Janice de Belen, Andi Eigenmann and JM de Guzman. This is his new movie after he won a best supporting actor award for “Manila Kingpin” where he played the man who betrayed Asiong Salonga.

We were then all drinking beer and some writers asked him to drink with us. “Hindi puede,” he said. “Bawal na.”

We remember the time when we visited the set of the Regal movie “Nandito Ako” in Bohol where he played villain to Aljur Abrenica. He was already drunk when he reported on the set and he ended fighting with someone. We’re glad he has since been rehabilitated. Aside from “Pridyider”, he’s now part of a new soap on TV5 that will star Derek Ramsay.
