The PBB Unlimited Finale was held at the Quirino Grandstand last Saturday night and it’s good the weather cooperated with them as a huge crowd went to Luneta to watch it live. It was raining earlier in the afternoon but it all cleared up at night so host Toni Gonzaga was able to do the rousing finale number without any hitch. As she announced that it was Slater who won, fabulous fireworks lighted up the night sky making it a real spectacular finale.
Slater got 40.02% of the votes, almost one half bigger than the second placer, Pamu Pamorada, who got 21.49%. Pamu’s difference from third placer Biggel was very slight as Biggel got 21.39%. Fourth placer Paco got 17.10%. All of them won various appliances plus cash. Slater won P2 million, Pamu got P1 million, Biggel got P500,000 while Paco got P300,000 personally handed to him by his donor, Dr. Vicky Belo.
Among the presenters that night were Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, DJ Durano and Iza Calzado. It was also announced that John Prats will be one of the hosts of PBB Teens Season 4 that starts this coming Sunday, April 8.
We’re glad the voters didn’t take it against Slater that he already comes from a well-to-do family in Cebu. We believe they like him as he really has a winning personality, is well behaved, good natured and looks like he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Now, let’s see if he’d also succeed in showbiz as he already has a manager even before he joined PBB.
