But it’s said she’s Fabio’s personal language coach in “Dwarfina”. “Yes, kasi kaming magkaeksena at tinuturuan ko how to pronounce his Tagalog lines correctly. Matagal na kaming magkakilala kasi we’ve been introduced by a common friend. Pero sana, wag ng lagyan ng malisya ang friendship namin. Bakit? Mukha ba kong mahilig sa lalaki?” she laughs.
How’s her mystery lover Mr. M? “Okay naman. Naghiwalay naman kaming maayos.” So why did they break up? “Let’s just say na-realize kong I can’t give up showbiz. Ito talaga ang mundo ko kasi 16 pa lang ako, nasa ‘That’s Entertainment’ na ko. He can give me everything I want, pero di ko talaga ito maiiwan. Noong on kami, napabayaan ko career ko kasi nga, in love, e. Before I announced na wala na kami, matagal na kaming tapos kaya lang di ko masabi kasi I’m hurting and it’s also embarrassing as people might say I’m a failure dahil nag-announce akong ikakasal, di naman natuloy. But now, I’m back with a vengeance. I put up my own production company called OnQ28. My first project is my own birthday concert, ‘Burlesk Booba’, on May 31 sa Resorts World with Ai Ai de las Alas, Eric Santos at the Bubblets sa Bubble Gang as my special guests.”
So what will she remember the most in “Dwarfina” in her role as Dwenkikay? “Naging close kami ni Heart. Mabait siya. In between takes, panay kuwentuhan namin. I’m so glad magkasama kami uli sa location shoot ng ‘Temptation Island’ sa Ilocos.”
