Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak a sizzling dramaserye on love and desire

THE STAR-STUDDED cast of “Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak”, directed by Jon Red and Cris Pablo, include Phillip Salvador, Sheryl Cruz, Valerie Concepcion, Arci Munoz, Carla Humphries, Victor Basa, James Blanco, Jay Aquitania, Jean Saburit, Mel Martinez, Rufa Mi, and Star factor discoveries Ritz Alzul and Clint Gabo. According to head writer Benedict Mique who has written scripts with ABS for “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and “Magpakailanman” for GMA-7, those who follow local showbiz will recognize some real life personalities in the characters they’ve created for “Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak”.

Ruffa Gutierrez as Ms. O, for Orchidia, is like Evita Peron in her back story, a poor provinciana who was an artista and is now the president of the network,” he says. “She’s actually working for Phillip Salvador as Mr. Z, for Zeus, the owner of the network who is her benefactor. Mr. Z has had an affair with Jean Saburit, the controlling mom of Victor Basa who may or may not be the son of Mr. Z. Ruffa is married to Mr. A, for Apollo, a TV director who’s having an affair with their star dancer, Valerie Concepcion as Violet, whose crown is about to be snatched by an ambitious and scheming fan, Carla Humphries as Ivy, a backup dancer who wants to be a big star.

Sheryl Cruz as Rosal is a former dancer who gets pregnant and decides to go home to her province where she tends to a flower shop. She has two daughters, Arci Munoz as Dahlia and Ritz Alzul as Daisy, one of whom is actually the daughter of Mr. A. James Blanco is an assistant director who’s the love interest of Dahlia while Jay Aquitania is a provinciano who’s secretly in love with Daisy. Clint Gabo is the provinciano utility boy who’s also in love with Daisy. How their paths will cross and become explosive stories of love and desire, ambition and rivalry is what ‘Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak’ is all about.”
