Agot Isidro denies rumor she and husband Manu Sandejas broke up

AGOT ISIDRO denies the rumor that she and husband of ten years Manu Sandejas have split up. “Kami pa rin, ba’t ba nyo kami gustong paghiwalayin?” she says. Manu is the brother of Paco Sandejas who’s married to “Full Time Moms” host Christine Jacob. He has joined showbiz himself on TV5 as host of the sports show “Astig” and as weatherman in their newscast, “Aksyon”.

For a while, there was a rumor that Agot herself is moving to TV5 but it proved false as she now plays Melissa Ricks’ mom in the new ABS afternoon soap, “Nasaan Ka, Elisa?” Is her role here as intriguing as her role in “Tayong Dalawa”? “I think so,” she says. “Maintriga yung role ko kasi akala mo, mabait at matiising housewife and mom, but may twist in her character. May mga sekreto siyang ikagugulat nyo.”

How is Melissa in the title role? “This is my third show with her after ‘Pedro Penduko’ and ‘Tanging Yaman’. So nakita yung progress niya from being such a bagets actress hanggang ngayon na mas daring na ang role niya rito sa ‘Elisa’. She works hard on her craft at marami siyang gugulatin dito.”
