Kris’ inclusion in the show happens at the time that Aljur as Machete has realized that Rosella (Bela Padilla) and his past love, Aginaya, are one. But the “Machete” taping last Monday was packed up when Ryza Cenon, who plays Marla, had food poisoning after she ate something while vacationing in Thailand that didn’t agree with her tummy. She was told to rest for a week. Meantime, Karen de los Reyes, who plays a villain role in the show, made a scene in the taping last week. She asked permission to leave the set but the staff requested her to return as she has to finish her remaining sequences. She did come back but made a scene and kept on swearing, so it was decided that the role she plays just be killed to get rid of her. “Pasaway siya,” says one staffer.
