JOHN PRATS says he tried his best to save his relationship with Shaina Magdayao. "Our family and friends know I did my best," he says. "I really wanted our relationship to have a fairy tale happily ever after kind of ending. But I guess it wasn't meant to to be. May binabagayan pala yun at hindi kami kasama ni Shaina sa mga binabagayan noon."
So he has learned to accept that Shaina has replaced him with another John (John Lloyd Cruz)? "Oo naman. I can afford to laugh about it now. Okay na ako. Someone asked me what I'd do if ever I'd see John Lloyd. Sabi ko, I'll just ask for his autograph," he laughs. "May nagsulat kasing sasapakin ko raw siya. It's not true. I don't go for violence. Isa pa, I've moved on. Tanggap ko na yung nangyari at bagong buhay na lang kami lahat."
He adds that even if they were both with Kapamilya network, he never became a close friend of John. "Walang chance. Hindi kami nagkatrabaho."
He won't admit it but it's said the fact that he avoids Shaina and John Lloyd is the reason why he's now more active on TV 5 with shows like "Moomoo and Me", "Lokomoko U" and "Party on 5".
