MASSIMO SCHOFIELD is one of Vivamax resident new daring actors who have no qualms about doing full frontal nudity on cam.
He has done so many graphic love scenes in films like “Silip sa Apoy” with Jela Cuenca, “Island of Desire” with Sheree, plus “Siklo”, “Hugas”, and the series “L” and “Iskandalo”. How was he discovered?
“My manager, Jojo Veloso, saw me sa Tiktok then he brought me to Viva at yun, nabigyan ako ng break,” he says.
He got his screen name from the character played by Michel Morone in the hit Netflix sex flick, “365 Days”. How come he has no qualms about disrobing?
“Ako naman, sinusunod ko lang kung anong sabihin ng director,” he says.
“Malaki kasi tiwala ko sa mga direktor ko since baguhan lang ako. E, ako, hindi ako nagpa-plaster so, handa ako sa anumang magiging resulta noon. Tanggap ko kung anong sasabihin ng ibang tao.”
He now plays his first lead role as Janelle Tee and Ayanna Misola’s leading man in “Putahe”, a food oriented sexy flick directed by cult filmmaker Roman Perez Jr. that starts streaming this Friday the 13th on Vivamax.
It was previewed to the press last Wednesday and, as maybe expected, it’s full of sex scenes, both hetero and lesbo, that leave very little to the imagination. How does he feel about being the leading man of both Janelle and Ayanna and he has hot love scenes with both of them?
“Sobrang saya po kasi pinagkatiwalaan nila ako sa project na ito. Lahat ng kasama ko, mula kay Direk Roman hanggang sa co-stars ko at sa production, parang inaalalayan nila ako kasi alam nilang baguhan ako.
"Parang reunion namin ito ni Direk Roman kasi siya ang first director ko sa ‘House Tour’ ng Vivamax. Ngayon, binigyan niya ako ng ganitong opportunity with a lead role so sobrang pasasalamat ko po talaga sa kanya.”
He also wants to thank his leading ladies, Janelle and Ayanna.
“Very supportive sila. Bale second time naming magkasama ni Ayanna kasi una kaming nagkatrabaho sa series na ‘Iskandalo’, which is also directed by Direk Roman.
"Pareho sila ni Janelle na mabait at magaling. Feeling safe kami sa isa’t isa, so wala kaming dapat ikatakot kahit sa mga delikadong eksena. Alam nilang iniingatan ko sila.”
Does he get sexually affected while doing love scenes?
“No, hindi po. Kasi mahihiya ako sa kapareha ko kapag na-arouse ako. Respeto na lang sa kanya. Masisira yung eksena, e. So iniisip ko na lang na hindi ako yun, I’m just playing a character. Trabaho lang ang lahat.”
He hails from Olongapo and used to work as a driver buying and selling motorcycles and cars.
He is taking his acting career seriously. His manager told him to have no girlfriend and so, he obeys and he claims to be currently loveless.
