                                                               ALAMAT BAND

                                                                       LITZ

                                                     MAGNUS HAVEN BAND

VIVA LIVE, INC. is all set to show another digital concert special, “ARRIVAL: The Next Chapter of OPM”, focusing on ten exciting music acts: Alamat, Because, LITZ, Lyca Gairanod, Magnus Haven, Claudia Barretto, DENY, Jehramae Trangia, Jona Soquite and Cean Jr.

They’re the hottest young OPM artists and hitmakers in the music scene today highlighting the dominant music genres now: rap, R&B, electropop, Lo-fi, dance, pop and ballads.

“It’s our aim to hone and promote these new talents,” says Viva exec Erl Orenza. “This is a chance for them to perform again after the pandemic and putting them all together in one show is just so exciting as they’re the future of OPM.

"We’re so proud of the show as directed by Paolo Valenciano who is very creative at napakaganda ng pagkakatahi niya sa iba’t ibang production numbers. Each artist will have their solo numbers singing their own hits and they will also have collaborations with each other that will be significant highlights of the show.”

We ask each artist how they feel being part of such a big show. “We’re honored to be part of this concert,” says Alamat, the 8-member boy band with hit songs like “Kasmala”, “Kbye” and “Porque”. “Some of them, we look up to at sobrang nakakatuwa na dati, pinapakinggan lang namin sila at ngayon, kasama na namin sa concert.”

“Ang sarap ng feeling to interact with other artists,” says Magnus Haven, the 5-piece band whose song “Imahe”, is a massive hit with 100 million streams on Spotify alone with Rajih Mendoza as lead vocalist. “We want to thank Viva na isinama kami sa concert na ito and we’re just so happy to perform on the same stage with these artists.”

“I am really glad to be in this concert as it’s been a while since I last performed,” says Claudia Barretto whose R&B lo-fi songs “Nothing to Do” and “Be It” are making waves now. “It’s awesome that we’re able to adapt with the pandemic and be given the chance to showcase our artistry.”

“It’s really exciting to perform with them,” says Because, considered one of the biggest rap acts today with such hits as “BMW”, “Sandali” and “Marlboro Black”. “I’m thankful to be given the chance to perform with them and I became an instant big fan of everyone. I’m really ecstatic to do a show with them.”

“To be honest, I still can't believe na kasama ako sa concert,” says Jehramae Trangia whose cover of the popular The Juans song, “Lumalapit”, is a big hit. “It’s my first concert and I’m very grateful na puro magagaling ang mga nakasama ko. I am very happy with this experience.”

“Because of the pandemic, napagkaitan tayo magkaroon ng gigs so we’re thankful to Viva for this concert,” says Deny, the talented singer-songwriter whose hit songs “Gusto Wit Ya” and “Like Me”. “Performing with all these other artists in one show has renewed my energy as everyone contributed their part.”

“Sobrang namiss ko mag-perform mula nang mag-lockdown,” says Lyca Gairanod, the young singing champ who made a hit version of Bandang Lapis’ “Kabilang Buhay”. “And here, kasama ko yung artists na dati napapakinggan ko lang. I had a really great time performing with them.”

“It’s my first time na mapasama ako sa ganitong malaking concert,” says Cean Jr. who hit it big with “Binibini”. “And I’m so thankful sa Viva for giving me the chance na makasama lahat ng magagaling na artists na kasama ko rito.”

“I am just super happy to perform again kasi, for almost two years walang ganitong event,” says Jona Soquite who’s making her debut with Viva. “It’s a new experience to do a big show like this and I’m thankful na puro magagaling ang mga kasama ko.”

“We’re so excited as our group is still new and yet we’re included in this show,” says LITZ, the 5-girl quintet who will sing their debut song, “Natataranta”. “We promise to do out best working with these very talented artists.”

These ten music artists in “Arrival” represent the future of Pinoy Pop and their show will start streaming on November 27, 2021 at KTX.PH, IWANTTFC, TFC IPTV. It will then air on VIVAMAX PLUS on November 29, 2021 and on the fast-growing platform VIVAMAX on December 31, 2021.
