MISS MULTINATIONAL BEAUTY PAGEANT WINNER SOPHIA SENORON HOSTS 'RISE UP STRONGER: THE ROAD TO NCAA' ON GTV WITH MARTIN JAVIER

                                   SOPHIA SENORON, MISS MULTINATIONAL WINNER

                          MARTIN JAVIER: THE SURFING SPORTSCASTER

SOPHIA SENORON was only 17 years old when she represented the country in the Miss Multinational Beauty Pageant in New Delhi, India in February 2018 and she brought home the title.

She also won special titles there like Miss Environment and Best in Interview.

Part of her prize is to do a movie with Regal Entertainment and we got to interview her when she was cast in the youth oriented film, “Walwal”.

She’s really very articulate so we’re not surprised that she’s now hosting a sports show for GMA-7. This is “Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96”, with sportscaster Martin Javier as her co-host.

It starts airing this Sunday on GTV and will be seen everyday.

This will serve as a warm up in preparation for the start of the new NCAA Season 96 and Sophia is so happy to be chosen to host it as she's a graduate of San Beda, which is part of the league.

“This is one of the most established basketball leagues in our country and many topnotch players are graduates of the NCAA so I’m proud to be now part of it,” she says.

“I’m glad that GTV is the new home of the NCAA and you can watch our show from Monday to Friday at 2:45 PM, 4:30 PM on Saturday and 5 PM on Sunday. Be with us as we introduce you the participating teams and their exciting basketball players.”

Her co-host, Martin Javier, used to be a Kapamilya anchorman who has covered some of the biggest sports leagues in the country, starting with NCAA 92.

He was with them for four years, but he lost his shows when the network lost its franchise last year. He has now transferred to the Kapuso Network.

“I’m glad to find work with GMA-7 now, but I will forever be grateful to ABS-CBN for giving me my break in broadcasting,” he says.

“It’s really my dream to be a sportscatser and they helped a lot in honing my skills in front of the camera. I will always be thankful for that. I’m so glad to cover the NCAA once again and to have Sophia as my co-host.

"I hope the viewers will support our tandem and we promise that we will do our best to give you the latest and hottest stories about the NCAA teams and its players.”
