BARBIE FORTEZA'S AWARD WINNING PERFORMANCE IN 'LAUT' SEEN IN GMA BLOCKBUSTERS THIS SUNDAY, ALONG WITH 'MEGAMIND' & 'BAHAY'

BRACE YOURSELVES for another exciting movie marathon this Sunday, November 8 on GMA-7.

"Kapuso Movie Festival" presents the blockbuster animated superhero film ‘Megamind,’ featuring the thrilling journey of a supervillain who finally defeats his nemesis, the superhero Metro Man.

But without a hero, he loses his purpose and must find new meaning to his life, with Will Ferrell doing the voice of Megamind.

Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza headlines GMA Blockbusters’ offering ‘Laut’, directed by Louie Ignacio, which tells the heartwarming story of Badjao sea gypsies from Zamboanga who are now living in Mabalacat, Pampanga.

Barbie plays the role of Nadia, from the impoverished group called Sama d' Laut. She is forced to marry a man she doesn't love (played by real life beau Jak Roberto) who turned to be such an irresponsible husband. They're supported by Gabbi Garcia, Ronwaldo Martin and Perla Bautista.

Barbie won the the best actress award at the the Fantasporto International Filmfest held in Portugal for her crackerjack performance in this film.

Meanwhile, "Telesine Presents" features the thriller ‘Bahay.’ It follows the gripping tale of Jackie (G. Tongi), who’s in search of her sister Emily (Anne Curtis).

Just when the authorities are about to give up, Jackie finds a glimmer of hope through a report of a missing house in Surigao where she meets the family of Karen (Jaclyn Jose). Will Jackie be finally able to find her long-lost sibling?

Catch this exciting set of movies on Kapuso Movie Festival before All-Out Sundays, GMA Blockbusters after "Dear Uge Presents", and Telesine Presents after The Boobay and Tekla Show on GMA-7.
