NEW BOYS LOVE SERIES FROM ACE DIRECTOR JADE CASTRO, 'BOYS' LOCKDOWN', INTRODUCES TWO POTENTIAL HEARTTHROBS, ALI KING AND ALEC KEVIN

THE BOYS LOVE series has become so popular that there are now so many such online shows going on. 


The latest to join the fray is “Boys’ Lockdown” and the big difference is that it is directed by a young but tried and tested director with a good track record, Jade Castro, who has directed acclaimed full length films.


His filmography includes “Endo”, his debut flick that won acting awards for all its stars: Ricky Davao, Jason Abalos and Ina Feleo. 


He also did the hit romcom “My Big Love” for Star Cinema, the hit horror-comedy “Zombadings” and the acclaimed “LSS, Last Song Syndrome” featuring the hit songs of Ben & Ben. 


“Boys Lockdown” introduces two new but highly talented and very charismatic young men who’d surely easily win the hearts of fans and make them swoon and squeal with delight in no time at all: Ali King and Alec Kevin. 


Ali plays Key Kalunsod while Alec plays Chen Chavez, and together, they are known as KeyChen.


Ali’s full name is Alonzo Raphael Elequin and he used to be work with a big ad agency. He has cultivated a following of his own loyal fans in his social media platforms where he shares many of his insightful ands entertaining personal stories.


Alec Kevin Rigonan has a formidable applied physics degree from UP and was part of the UP Street Dance Team that won in the UP Cheer Dance competition in 2016, where he also emerged as the street dance champion. 


He then did a short film, “Fish Out of Water”, in 2017 that was nominated as best short film in Gawad Urian. It cultivated his love for acting and now, he’s a full pledged actor in “Boys’ Lockdown”.  He’s a self-confessed who loves lemon tarts, espresso coffee and red wine.


“Boys’ Lockdown” will premiere later this October on the Ticket2Me video player and youtube.
