SUSAN ROCES' CHARACTER, LOLA FLORA, IN 'ANG PROBINSYANO', WILL TAKE A VACATION

SUSAN ROCES wisely chooses not to go back to work yet, even if her long-running show on ABS-CBN, “Ang Probinsyano”, is reportedly resuming its taping of new episodes and returns online and on cable TV on June 13.

The show will adopt the “new normal” way of taping, with everyone involved to be locked down in a closed set.

No one will be allowed to go home for five weeks and without entertaining any visitors from the outside world, just to make sure that everyone will be safe.

Lorna Tolentino, who plays the villainous Lily, has already signified her intention to agree to this requirement of lockdown taping, but Ate Swanie, who plays the loving Lola Flora of Coco Martin, begged off.

Ate Swanie is in her late 70s, so it’s not surprising that she wants to protect herself from the dreaded corona virus. Even her daughter, Sen. Grace Poe, is said to be happy that she opted to just stay home.

She reportedly told Coco to make Lola Flora go on a vacation and she will just return to taping for “Ang Probinsyano” when an antidote is already found to combat the virus.

Wonder how about the other senior citizen in the cast, Jaime Fabregas as Lolo Delfin, will he make himself available to go on taping even without Lola Flora?
