MULA APARRI HANGGANG JOLO, 'EAT BULAGA' IS BACK LIVE ON AIR TO BRING JOY AND ENTERTAINMENT TO HOME VIEWERS

‘EAT BULAGA’ fans are happy since the country’s longest-running noontime show is now again being aired live on GMA-7 starting this week.

The APT Studio in Cainta has been totally cleaned and disinfected to make sure it’s safe for all those involved in the show and free from the virus.

On board to lead the hosts of the show are Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza and the AlDub fans are all so happy to see them together again, along with Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Paolo Ballesteros.

There’s a small live audience around, but they’re few and far between to make sure everyone’s practicing social distancing, including the hosts themselves.

Maine says it’s the new normal and assured viewers that “Live na ulit kami araw-araw, dabarkads!” Their last live show was aired on March 14 and the lockdown started on March 15.

In fairness, the repeats of past “Eat Bulaga” episodes also rated well, specially the big hit “Bawal Judgmental” portion that everyone has learned to love and appreciate since they’re both entertaining and very touching as the same time, as hosted by Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon.

Also a hit in the replays was the endearing “Kalye Serye” which started the love team of Alden and Maine.

We heard that “Bawal Judgmental” will be replaced by “Cash Landing on You” that will give help to needy contestants in this season of the corona pandemic. Another helpful new episode will be “Kabuhayan ni Juan Project” that will aim to help small businesses.

Jose was shown while talking to Vic Sotto in a video call, explaining how they sanitized the entire studio to make sure it will be totally clean. He reported to Vic: "Ipapakita natin sa mga dabarkads na lagi tayong safe, lalo dito sa loob ng studio. Nag-prepare kami dito, nilinis namin lahat.

"Bossing, lahat po 'yan nilinis natin meron tayong mga kasama rito mula sa audience area ayan binubugahan natin lahat para mas malinis ang lahat ng paligid natin. Sa backstage hanggang sa on stage po natin, inayos po. Lahat po yan, pati po diyan sa dressing rooms ng hosts, lahat kumpleto po yan, lahat inisa-isa naming linisin."

Aside from Vic, the other hosts of “Eat Bulaga” also greeted from their own homes via video call, including Joey de Leon, Pia Guanio, Ryan Agoncillo, Allan K, Pauleen Luna, Ryzza Mae Dizon and Baeby Baste.

As they say, makakaasa kayo na “mula Aparri hanggang Jolo, tuloy pa rin ang kasayahan araw-araw sa ‘Eat Bulaga’, still the country’s number one noontime show!”
