Nathalie Hart Confesses She's Pregnant And The Dad Is An Indian Guy From New Delhi

NATHALIE HART made a pasabog at the solo presscon called by her manager, Leo Dominguez. She announced that she’s pregnant and is due to give birth in January, 2019. So who’s the dad? “He’s an Indian guy I met in New Delhi when I attended the wedding of a friend last December,” she says. “His brother, best friend nung groom and we were introduced. Hindi na niya ko tinigilan. He followed me to Manila at talagang may ligaw factor siya. Sobrang mabait siya at mas maalaga compared sa mga ibang Pinoy na walang masyadong pakialam.”

What’s his name and what does he do? “His name is Mayank Sharma, 6’1”, 25 years old and 26 naman ako. He works for their family’s real estate business. India is near to my heart as I studied gemology before in Mumbai when my sister and I were putting up a jewelry business.”

Does he know she’s an actress? “Noong una, hindi pa. But when he came here, tamang-tamang palabas ang ‘Sin Island’ so isinama ko siya.”

What’s his reaction? “Na-shocked siya kasi may nude scene ako roon, di ba? Now, ayaw na niya kong sobrang magpa-sexy. We’re having a civil marriage here and later, after I deliver my baby, we’ll have a big wedding in a traditional Hindu ceremony. But I want to deliver my baby sa Sydney, Australia, kasi dun talaga kami galing as my late dad is from there.”

How did she feel when she learned she’s preggy? “50-50. Naiyak ako kasi I wasn’t ready, I felt stressed, pero excited din ako kasi I will have my own baby at gusto ko siyang makita.”

The baby came at a time when her career is peaking. She’s currently the leading lady of Zanjoe Marudo in the comedy “Kusina Kings”, she’s doing a soap “The Blood Sisters” on ABS-CBN, and she’s in the cast of three new movies. One is a sexy drama with Diether Ocampo and Ricky Davao.

Then there’s the ensemble comedy for Viva where she co-stars with Cristine Reyes and Meg Imperial, “Abay Babes, The Bitch Wedding”, and a remake of the horror classic, “Patayin Mo sa Sindak si Barbara, with her playing the title role, co-starring JC De Vera and Mariel de Leon, directed Christopher Castillo whose dad, the late Celso Kid, helmed the original “Barbara” movie. Didn’t she get scared that having a baby might affect her career adversely? Didn’t it cross her mind to get rid of it?

“Ay no, never. Yung lalaglag? I won’t do such a thing. Gift ito ni Lord, e. Puede ko nga itong itago, but I chose to announce it proudly to the world. At saka puede naman akong bumalik sa showbiz after I give birth. Marami namang artistang nanganak na nakabalik pa rin sa career nila, di ba?”
