No Extension For Alden Richards & Maine Mendoza's 'Destined To Be Yours' That Ends In May Since They Will Start Shooting A New Movie

IT’S FINAL. No amount of protestations from AlDub diehards can change the fact that “Destined to Be Yours” will have its last telecast on the third week of May. GMA-7 wants to make it clear that it’s not being prematurely shortened because of the hullabaloo caused by writer Suzette Doctolero who wrote that it’s a flop The series, as a matter of fact, is now rating very well, but from the start, it’s really meant to last only until May because Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza are meant to start shooting a new movie.

GMA promises that the remaining weeks of “Destined to Be Yours” will a very memorable one for all its loyal viewers. They already got a big surprise when Alden as Benjie and Maine as Sinag had a recent lips-to-lips kissing scene in the show and it lasted for quite a while.

Meanwhile, Alden and Maine were named the Prince and Princess of Philippine Movies in the 48th Box Office Entertainment Awards, with Alden also winning the best Male Recording Artist of the Year Award.
