Jak Roberto On The Possibility Of Him And Barbie Forteza Ending Up In Each Other's Arms At The End Of 'Meant To Be'

 

JAK ROBERTO was surprised to know that he and Barbie Forteza have their own loyal fans who are supporting their love team and who have dubbed their tandem in “Meant to Be” as JakBie. “Nakakatuwa nga kasi some are even rooting for us na kami sana ang magkatuluyan sa story ng ‘Meant to Be’ as Andoy and Billie,” he says. “But of course, wala naman sa amin ang decision kung kami nga talaga ang siyang will end up with each other. Malayo pa itatakbo ng kuwento so abangan na lang nila.”

He was also surprised when he came up as the top choice of gays in an online survey on who is the sexiest young actor on TV today. “Honestly, I was not even aware na may ganung survey, so maraming salamat na ako ang napili nila. At least, nagbunga yung pagsisipag kong mag-workout sa gym to have the kind of body that I have now.”

Has he received an indecent proposal because he’s always shirtless in front of the camera? “May mga nagpapadala ng message na pinupuri yung abs ko, nakikipag-date din at nago-offer ng kung anu-ano. Wala pa akong tinanggap na kahit anong offer. Okay lang na makipag-kaibigan pero kung higit pa roon, sorry po, wala po akong maibibigay.”

In “Meant to Be”, aside from Gloria Romero as his doting Lola Madj, he is now given his own father, Jay Manalo. “Happy akong siya ang tatay ko kasi some years ago, bit roles pa lang ang ginagampan ko, sinabi niya dun sa isang manager ko, ‘Alam mo, sisikat itong alaga mo.’ Hindi ko talaga makalimutan yun and now, nang magkita kami uli, at least, isa na ko sa leading men in ‘Meant to Be’.”
