Regine Velasquez Will Sing, Dance, Do Comedy And Host Her New Show, 'Full House Tonight', That Airs On GMA-7 Starting February 18 After 'Magpakailanman'

REGINE VELASQUEZ is hosting a new show on GMA-7, “Full House Tonight”. Unlike her husband Ogie Alcasid who has since moved to TV5 and is now with ABS-CBN, Regine has chosen to remain loyal as a Kapuso. “Napakabait sa’kin ng GMA kasi sa kahit anong gawin ko for them, they involve me as part of the creative team na bumubuo ng show,” she says. “They ask for my ideas, my suggestions, kasali ako sa pre-production meetings and I really appreciate that. They’re generous to me with everything. I was even given time to be a mother to my child, then they waited for me to lose weight. Maluwag sila sa akin. Yung lifestyle-cooking show ko, ‘Sarap Diva’, five years na siya. And aside from ‘Full House Tonight’, I’ll also be in ‘Mulawin vs. Ravena’ na ang role ko, reyna, Reyna ng Kalikasan.”

Did Ogie consult her about moving to ABS-CBN? “Yes, pinag-usapan namin yun at matagal bago
siya nag-decide. Now, kita naming happy siya roon. After mag-rest siya nang matagal, ngayon, araw-araw siyang napapanood sa TV so happy siya.”

Regine will not just be the host of the comedy musical show “Full House Tonight”, she will also do song numbers and act in their comedy skits. The format of the show is something like “Saturday Night Live” and “Sunday Pinasaya”, a hodge podge of sketches, stand up comedy and musical numbers. Appearing with her are the teen love team of Miguel Tanfelix and Bianca Umali, bombshell Solenn Heussaff, plus Joross Gamboa, Kim Idol, Tammy Brown, Sarah Brakensiek, Terry Gian and Philip Lazaro. This will start airing on February 18, directed by Louie Ignacio, after “Magpakailanman”.
