Regine Velasquez Denies Rumor That She's Leaving GMA-7 To Move To Another Network

REGINE VELASQUEZ is very much surprised about the news that she is sure to leave GMA-7 and it’s a done deal that she’ll transfer to another network soon. “I don’t know where they’re getting such stories but it’s definitely not true. The truth is I’m just about to renew my contract with GMA for another two years,” she says.

After her successful “Regine at the Theatre” concert at Solaire, Regine will now hold a benefit concert in Laguna on December 6. This will be held at the all-new entertainment-sports venue in the South, the Alonte Sports Arena. The arena is a flagship project of Biñan, Laguna Mayor Len Alonte, and Regine’s concert is the first-ever to be hosted by the venue. Mayor Len is impressed because Regine is so easy to invite to perform for them. Proceeds would go to the Unlad Biñan Foundation and Go Forward Biñan Foundation.

Performing with Regine are Jaya and Michael Pangilinan. Tickets are available at SM Tickets nationwide.
