Nadine Lustre's Career On A Roll With A Hit TV Soap, A Movie That's An Entry In The Metro Filmfest, And A Valentine Concert With James Reid In 2016

NADINE LUSTRE feels so blessed to be part of a movie that is an entry in the Metro Manila Filmfest, “The Beauty and the Bestie”. “I play the sister of Kuya Coco Martin and it’s really nice working with him and Vice Ganda,” she says. “Doing the movie with them is a lot of fun. Lagi kaming masaya sa set. And they’re both nice to work with, parehong down to earth, walang ere kahit big stars sila. Sa scene namin with Vice Ganda, sobrang tawa kami ng tawa ni James (Reid).”

How do they feel being added to the cast so their love team can help attract the younger members of the audience to watch the movie? “Honored po kaming makasama sa movie kasi sobrang saya niya. Saka ngayon lang may filmfest entry ang love team namin so we’re looking forward to joining our float sa Parade of Stars. Tiyak na masaya yun.”

Her career is really on a roll, what with her and James also having a hit TV show, “On the Wings of Love”? “Talagang 2016 is such a good and memorable year for our love team. Ang daming positive na nangyari. May Valentine concert pa kami for next year, ‘JaDine Love, One Hot Concert’. Puede na pong bumili ng tickets. Sa OTWOL naman, extended kami hanggang February at maraming exciting developments. Isa na rito yung pagpasok ni Paulo Avelino as Simon na boss ko, then yung love team ng PBB discoveries na sina Bailey May as Harry and Ylona Garcia as Audrey.”

How did she feel when James was reported to be romancing Julia Barretto? “He denied it naman. Parang mahirap kasing paniwalaan na magpi-PDA (public display of affection) daw sila in a public place like a bar. May fan yatang nagpapakuha ng picture sa kanya at nang di mapagbigyan, siniraan siya. I think James cares for our loves team and if ever he’d date anyone, he’ll be very careful and discreet, kasi alam niyang siguradong masasaktan ang fans ng love team namin.”
