“No, naayos na naman ang lahat so we’re friends now,” he says. “What I realized is that bilog talaga ang mundo, maliit lang lalo ang mundo ng showbiz, at mangyayaring magkakatrabaho kayo uli so it’s best to just let bygones be bygones.”
Didn’t he have any second thoughts about accepting the movie? “No, I had no hesitation at all when I accepted the offer to do ‘Hermano Puli’ with Aljur. Kami naman ni Louise, civil kami sa isa’t isa. Kaya wala akong apprehensions doing the movie kasi, unang-una, ang ganda ng role ko as Octavio, right hand man ni Hermano Puli who’d stand by him in the revolt against the Spaniards. Tapos, I want to work with our director, Gil Portes. Napanood ko yung movies niya noon at maganda ang work niya so I want to be directed by him.”
Enzo is also happy with his role in the new hit soap of GMA-7, “Because of You”. “I play Sonny, the happy go lucky boyfriend of Joyce Ching who’s Cheska. I come from a rich family and may pagka-spoiled brat ako. Bad influence ako kay Joyce at tinuturuan ko siyang mag-rebelde sa dad niya, Gabby Concepcion. I love her but she knows she’s not my priority.”
