Gabby is a certified ladies man with five daughters with four different women. He has KC Concepcion with his first wife, Sharon Cuneta; Gabrielle Ibuna with Grace Ibuna; Chloie with Jenny Syquia and Samantha Alexis and Savannah his current wifey Genevieve Gonzales. When he turned a golden boy last year, his four daughters were there except for Chloie who lives abroad with her mom.
"I was estranged from my daughters for sometime but I'm glad we were able to reconnect eventually," he says. "Sina KC and Gabriella, they visited me in the U.S. noong doon pa ako nakatira. Si Chloie, I believe magkakausap din kami at the right time kasi ang layo niya, e. Ako naman, as their father, I will always just be here for them anytime they need me."
A lot of his colleagues has joined politics. Does he have any plans of eventually running for public office? "It's not that simple kasi iba ang politics and I think it's not for me. But we don't know, baka pag dumating ang tamang panahon. Basta as of now, I can contribute my time and effort naman in helping other people in some other ways."
He's happy to be doing a soap with the Kapuso network. "Lately, salbahe yung roles na ginagampanan ko, babaero, so I'm glad this time, lead role ako at mabait yung character that I play in this feel good teleserye. I'm also glad to be working again with Carla Abellana na nakatrabaho ko na sa movie ng Regal before, 'Yesterday Today Tomorrow'. She's so nice to work with, very professional, kaya ang trabaho namin dito, masasabi kong it's just like a walk in the park."
