VP Jojo Binay On Nora Aunor And Vilma Santos And Alden Richards

ALL THE GUESTS sang the birthday song heartily for celebrants Salve Asis of PSN and Jun Nardo of Abante when VP Jojo Binay and daughter Sen. Nancy hosted lunch and had individual birthday cakes for them. Salve asked the VP if he watches local films. “Oo, pero madalas, nakakatulog ako,” he says. “But a few days ago, nanood kami ng ‘Heneral Luna’ at hindi ako nakatulog. Maganda kasi.”

If he’d ever has his own filmbio made, who would he like to play him on screen?

Is it true he’s courting Gov. Vilma Santos to be his vice president in the coming election? “She’s really very much qualified for the position, kaya lang nirerespeto ko yung decision niyang wala siyang balak at all na tumakbo for higher office.”

Someone said “mas bagay ho kayo ni Nora Aunor. Mas magiging maganda ang chemistry nyong dalawa.” And he says: “Wala naman yata siyang balak pumasok sa politika, e.” He was told Ate Guy ran for public office once in Bicol but she lost. If he’d get elected as president, would he make Nora Aunor a national artist? “Why not? Deserving naman siya. Basta napunta sa kamay ko lahat ng requirements for her, aaprubahan ko.”

We ask Sen. Nancy what are her most endearing memories about her dad?
