“That’s just fine with me kasi senior stars naman ang sinusuportahan ko and I also welcome the experience of acting with Dennis Trillo and Jennylyn Mercado,” she says. “Maski ang iba pang cast members, puro magagaling, like Rio Locsin as our mom ni Ate Jen and Snooky Serna as Dennis’ mom. I’m honored to be part of this good cast kasi, for sure, I will learn a lot from them dahil matagal na sila sa industry. And I like my role as the sister in law of Dennis na magkakagusto sa kanya after lokohin siya ng kapatid ko. This is my most mature role so far.”
She was supposed to enroll at San Beda Law School in October but she has to put it on hold now that she’s doing “My Faithful Husband”. “Isa pa, I’ve put up my own business, a restaurant called North Wing sa Maginhawa St. in UP Village. So, I’m happy na I have a new show and a new business where I’m gaining a lot of new friends.”
So what happened to her after that incident where a woman claimed to be her real mom? “Okay naman po kasi, as a family, it helps to strengthen our bond at mas nakilala namin ang isa’t isa. I feel more secure now with my parents and siblings at mas minamahal namin ang isa’t isa.”
She used to be paired with Alden Richards in hit soaps like “One True Love” and “Mundo Mo’y Akin”. How does she feel now that Alden has a new ka-love team, Yaya Dub? “I’m happy for him kasi may kanya-kanya naman kaming career and it looks like nakakatulong yun sa career niya. Actually, napapanood ko sila kasi my mom, favorite niya ang ‘Eat Bulaga’, e. I find them cute.”
Some bashers are now telling her in social media to stay away from Alden. What can she say about this? “I know, kaya nga noong may fans day ang GMA sa MOA, ako pang nagsasabi kay Alden, huwag kang didikit sa akin at baka magalit ang fans nyo ni Yaya Dub. I understand naman the fans of their love team. I know where they’re coming from.”
