WE FEEL SAD for Robin Padilla as his wife Mariel Rodriguez had another miscarriage and she lost the triplets in her womb. It happened last Wednesday night and Robin’s manager, Betchay Vidanes, quickly confirmed this in a special statement:“It is with such a heavy heart that we are informing you that Ms. Mariel has suffered a miscarriage on August 12, 2015 at 6:30pm and the couple have lost their triplet pregnancy. On behalf of the couple we would like to ask for your prayers and utmost consideration for the couple's privacy and comfort. May the Creator bless them with hope, mercy and joy."
Mariel had her first miscarriage last May. She felt depressed after that, saying “A small part of me has died.”
She withdrew from the public for a while and only came out again when TV5 offered her to co-host “Happy Wife Happy Life” and “Happy Truck ng Bayan”. Last month, she went with Robin to Spain to help him do research on his family tree. It’s said that it was there that she conceived again.
A few days ago, Robin announced that he is begging off from doing his Metro-Manila filmfest entry, “#Nilalang”, so he can personally take better care of his wife and their babies. Unfortunately, Mariel had another miscarriage. Does this mean that Robin will now be willing to shoot the movie again? Meantime, let’s all pray for Mariel to have courage and fortitude as what just happened will surely give her another reason to feel depressed again.
