Yasmien Kurdi & Cast Of 'Yagit' Feel Sad Now That The Show Is About To End & Be Replaced By 'Buena Familia'

YASMIEN KURDI feels sad that their long-running afternoon show, "Yagit", is now on its last few taping days. "Everything naman talaga has to come to an end and yes, after eight months on the air, matatapos na rin kami," she says.

The series was originally directed by Gina Alajar who was there from its conception one year ago when they held auditions for the four "yagit" child stars who played the lead role. "Kasama ako sa auditions in various parts of the country at doon nga namin na-discover ang mga batang artista namin sa 'Yagit' ngayon, sina Chlaui Malayao, Jemwell Ventimilla, Judie de la Cruz at Zymic Jaranilla," Direk Gina recalls. "Talagang minahal sila ng mga tao and they made 'Yagit' one of the favorite afternoon shows na laging mataas ang rating. Yun nga lang, I had to leave them when I was asked to direct 'Let the Love Begin'."


Yasmien says she's so proud to have been a part of "Yagit", where she plays Dolores, the mother of Chlaui as Elisa and the estranged partner of James Blanco as Victor. "Lahat kami sa cast, masaya sa narating ng 'Yagit' at nagtagal ito sa ere nang higit sa aming inaasahan," she says. "Malaking karangalan na maging bahagi ng isang show na tumatak talaga sa viewers na talagang sumubaybay at nakiiyak sa amin. Abangan ninyo ang last few episodes as they will answer the following questions: Magkakaroon pa kaya ng chance na mabuo uli ang family Dolores, Victor at Elisa? Magkasama-sama pa kaya ang mga batang Yagit sa kabila ng kasamaan nina Wowie de Guzman as Chito, LJ Reyes at Flora and Bettina Carlos as Izel na pilit silang pinaghihiwalay? Huwag kayong bibitaw kasi talagang the last few episodes will be very exciting and very dramatic din."

"Yagit" is seen right after "The Half Sisters". It will be replaced on June 27 by "Buena Familia" starring Kylie Padilla. Martin del Rosario and Julie Anne San Jose.
