PEOPLE ARE wondering why Nora Aunor failed to show up at the wedding of her one and only biological child, Ian de Leon, last Sunday. "Kaisa-isang anak niya, hindi pa niya sinipot ang kasal," says one writer.
Someone said Ian cried over it but he tried to put up a very brave front and later even tried to joke about it. "Buti na lang nandun ang tatay niyang si Christopher de Leon, na kumanta pa," says one source. "At buti na lang nandun ang stepmom niyang si Sandy Andolong, with whom he even danced during the reception. E, yung mismong tunay niyang ina, nasaan?"
Ricky Lee, Guy's best friend and supporter, was at the wedding as one of the ninongs and said Guy is indisposed. "Masakit daw ang likod," says one informer. "Naku, kung si Sandy nga, kagagaling lang sa kidney transplant, pero nakasipot," remarks someone who's obviously no fan of Ate Guy.
Another story we heard about Ate Guy has something to do with her movie, "Padre de Familia", with Coco Martin which has been in the can for over a year now but remains unshown. "Pinanood kasi ng mga ABS-CBN big bosses ang buong movie and they advised Coco not to show it anymore kasi makakasira lang at hindi makakatulong sa career niya na inaalagaan pa nga naman nilang mabuti," says our source. To which another informer quips: "Coco has no one else to blame but himself kasi nakialam siya sa pagdidirek ng movie. Siguro, katwiran niya, siya ang producer at actor doon, kaya may K siyang makialam sa pagdidirek. In one scene with Nora Aunor, bigla siyang sumigaw ng Cut! Sabi kay Ate Guy, bakit hindi ka kumikibo? Dapat ideliver mo yung linya mo. And Nora said, Coco, may sarili akong paraan ng pagde-deliver ng dialogue. I count a few beats muna bago ko sumagot. Biro mo, si Ate Guy na yun, pinakialaman pa ang acting."
