Why Maestro Ryan Cayabyab Is So Excited And Supports GMA-7's Search For A New Boy Band In 'To The Top'

MAESTRO RYAN CAYABYAB is very supportive of GMA-7's boy band search, "To the Top", that starts airing on Saturday night. "I've never been this excited kasi ang dami ng ibang reality search at talent search, but lahat, usually, solo singer lang ang hanap," he says. "Itop 'To the Top', naiiba kasi isang group ang magiging winner and I really want to support this type of endeavor kasi, alam nyo naman ang background ko. My career is unanimous to The Company, Smokey Mountain and my own RCS, puro singing groups, kaya I'm all for 'To the Top' kasi this is what I really like to support. Iba yung excitement ng ganitong competition kasi may singing and dancing na, tapos mga bata ang involved."

When the 18 contestants were presented to the press, the guys were divided into three groups. Team B impressed the press people who attended the affair with their K-Pop outfit and sleek dance moves, plus great vocals.

The team is composed of Joshua Jacobe, JP Palanca, Ken Carpena, Martin de Vera, MJ Magno and Seph Manlapaz. Among then, Ken has experience with "Walang Tulugan" while MJ (former member XCLR8) has won medals abroad.

The other teams have their own coaches so we're sure its members will also do their best to excel in the competition. They're all constantly being honed to give their best in each of their performances and you can judge for yourselves who among the 18 contestants will be the most qualified to be part of the 6-member boyband that will be recruited from among them.
