'Kispinoy' Search For Local K-Pop Stars Hosted By Richard Gutierrez Starts Airing This Saturday On TV5 At 9 PM

ANOTHER NEW SHOW that will start on TV5 this Saturday is "KisPinoy", a reality talent search show for the next K-Pop Sensation produced Yu&IQ, a Korean Company, hosted by Richard Gutierrez who's understandably excited as this serves as his comeback vehicle on prime time television. Korean TV personality Jinri Park will act as backstage reporters and also segment host.

"This is a great opportunity for our local talents to be recognized not only here in the Philippines but also in Korea dahil ipalalabas din sa Seoul ang aming show," says Richard. "The top finalists will even be brought there later for training at kasama ko kaya excited ako kasi first time ko to visit Korea."

Joining Richard as the judges are Gelli de Belen, Rico Blanco, and Kevin Woo of UKiss. There will be a different Korean judge from the successful K-Pop industry every week. Gelli is a bonafide fan of Korean stars and singers so she's very much qualified to be a judge. "I got really excited when they informed na magiging isa ako sa judges," she says. "Actually, hindi lang ako ang fan ng Korean stars but also my sister Janice. Nagulat nga si Richard nang magkakuwentuhan kami at ang dami ko sa kanyang nai-share na information about K-Pop stars."

Don't miss the start of "KisPinoy" this Saturday at 9 PM on TV5, right after "ParangNormal Activity".
