We first met Timothy when he and the other contestants in last year's Mr. Chinatown were presented to the press by ABS-CBN. He ended up as second runner up. He's the most buff among the contestants then. Now 22 years old, he has graduated from PWU majoring in tourism and he's now working with his dad's own company. "Mother Lily invited us ni Rolini Pineda to audition for the movie 'Chinoy', tapos we took the Regal acting workshop at suwerteng nasama ko sa bagong batch ng Regal babies."
We tell him to change his screen name because there's already a Tim Yap. "Balak ko ngang ang second name ko ang gamitin ko, which is Lawrence."
Two of the new Regal babies are brother and sister: David Paul Ambagan, 22 years old, and Danielle Ambagan, 15 years old. They're from Las Pinas. David is the 2nd of six kids and Danielle is the youngest. David is taking up engineering management at Mapua while Danielle is in high school.
Mother Lily's personal choice among the newcomers is Miggy Marty, who has a jolly personality and has a good potential as a comedian. Born on Oct. 30, 1989, he's 25 years old and has finished business management at San Beda. He just resigned from his day job as a marketing executive to join showbiz. He has also done TV ads and his dream is to be paired with Angel Locsin someday.
