Andrea Torres, Sam Pinto & Max Cinco Declare They Did Not Deliberately Boycott FHM's Sexiest Woman Party Because They Resent Jennylyn Mercado As Winner

ANDREA TORRES wants to make it clear that she is not bitter that she just landed second place to Jennylyn Mercado in FHM's Sexiest Pinay Search. "I respect Jen so much and I even congratulated her after she won," she says.

Through her social media post, she wants "to send my love and positive vibes. I would like to categorically state that I have no problem whatsoever with Jennylyn's victory. I'm really happy for her and all those who made it on the list. The support I got is sufficient reward for me. After all, it was the first time I ventured into something I thought I could never do. I can never thank my fans enough, Marian Rivera's fans and all those who supported me.

"I am not in the habit of creating conflict and harboring ill against my co-artists. We support each other. Jen and I are together in 'Sunday All Stars' and I have a very high regard for her talents and I respect her both as an artist and as an individual."

Two other Kapuso stars, Sam Pinto and Max Collins, also deny that they boycotted the FHM affair because they don't approve of Jen as winner. Sam says she already told the organizers that she has given her nod to another commitment from which she cannot back out anymore.

Max says she was really bothered by haters who bashed her for not showing up at the FHM gig. She says she hasn't been going out of her home for sometime because of death threats that she has been receiving lately. "I'd really want to attend the affair to personally thank my fans who voted for me," she says. "Okay lang sa'king si Jen ang nanalo. Deserving siya, but the police told me not to take the death threats lightly, lalo sa ganung affair na masyadong maraming tao and anything can happen. Nawalan talaga ako ng peace of mind dahil sa threats na yan, lalo nang may nakita kaming mga lalaking naka-motorcycle na umaaligid sa bahay namin. I really don't know why they're threatening me. Wala naman akong kaaway at hindi naman ako mayaman, so sana tigilan na nila ako."
