Joross Gamboa Does A Shower Scene With Thai Actor Ae Pattawan In The Filipino New Cinema Filmfest Entry 'I Love You, Thank You'

JOROSS GAMBOA didn't mind playing another gay role in the Filipino New Cinema World Premieres Filmfest entry, "I Love You. Thank You", filmed on location in Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia, written and directed by Charliebebs Gohetia. "The movie is not like other gay flicks that capitalize on gay bedscenes and nudity," he says. "Walang ganoong kalaswaan dito. May shower scene kami ni AE Pattawan, the Thai actor who's paired with me, pero wala namang malicious na ipinakita. Actually, kahit gay, makaka-relate sa takbo ng story, which is about unreciprocated love."

In the story, Joross is secretly in love with the boyfriend, CJ Reyes, of his best friend, Prince Estefan. Since he can't express his love for the object of affection, he goes backpacking to Thailand and meets AE Pattawan, who falls in love with him and follows him to Cambodia and Vietnam, but he doesn't reciprocate AE's love for him. Their dialogue with AE telling him "I love you", and him saying "Thank you", is the actual title of their movie.

Off-cam, Joross is soon to be a father. He married his wife Katz Saga in November and she's now five months pregnant. "It's going to be a boy and he'll come out probably in late September or early October. Maraming friends ko ang naiinggit kasi naka-boy agad ako, e sila, mostly girls ang anak."

On TV, Joross can be seen regularly in the ABS-CBN primetime soap, "Bridges of Love", with Maja Salvador, Jericho Rosales and Paulo Avelino.
