"I've been working with Heart since her teenage years in ABS-CBN," says Boyet. "Nasubaybayan ko ang paglaki niya and I really treat her as one of my daughters. It's been a while since we last worked with each other, kaya nagulat ako nang magkasama kami uli dito sa 'Beautiful Strangers' because she has improved tremendously in her craft. Maybe it's because marami na siya pinagdaanan and she's now married kaya she shows much greater maturity in her performance."
"It's really flattering to hear that," says Heart in return. "Coming from a multi-awarded and respected actor like Tito Boyet. I can really say that I have really gained more experiences as a person and as a married woman. This has helped me a lot to be a better actress, so I'm really proud of what and who I have become at this point in my career."
Boyet is happy to be working not only with Heart in "Beautiful Strangers" but also his own youngest son, Gab de Leon. "First time naming magkakasama sa isang soap and I'm glad I can personally guide him sa taping."
Gab himself is so happy to work with his dad. "He's always been my inspiration kaya ako pumasok sa pag-arte," he says. "Marami na akong natutuhan sa kanya, especially about discipline to refine your craft as an actor. Nakikita ko kung gaano ang paghahandang ginagawa niya bago siya sumabak sa isang eskena. He's very passionate with his work at yun ang gusto kong tularan. Sana nga, maging magkaeksena kami sa 'Beautiful Strangers' dahil matagal ko nang pangarap na makabatuhan ko siya ng linya."
Meantime, Boyet is very thankful to the Lord for healing his wife, Sandy Andolong, after her kidney operation, and their U.S.-based son, Miguel, who is now totally cancer free. Praise God.
