Miguel Tanfelix A Victim Of The Stifling Summer Heat We're Currently Experiencing

MIGUEL TANFELIX became a victim of this summer’s truly stifling scorching heat. While taping “Once Upon a Kiss” in Batangas last week, he felt so weak and nearly fainted he had to be taken to the hospital. He’s diagnoses to be suffering from heat stroke and dehydration because of the very warm climate. Obviously, he’s not taking enough liquids to replenish all the water in his body that’s quickly being depleted by the intensely hot summer weather.

Miguel is touched when his partner, Bianca Umali, visited him in the hospital and admonished him to drink more water so he won’t get dehydrated again. He quickly recovered and is able to join the cast of their show in their mall show at Montalban Town Center last weekend.

What happened to them in real life is opposite of what’s happening to them on screen in the story of “Once Upon a Kiss”, where Bianca is the one afflicted with brain tumor as Ella and it’s Miguel as Prince who visit her in the hospital where she’s confined. In “Once Upon a Kiss” this week, Miguel tries his best to cut all his ties with Bianca and ignore her as he has promised to his mom, Mylene Dizon as Giselle. His mom will shoulder the expenses of Bianca’s brain surgery only if Miguel will give her up for good. Because of this sacrificial act, he gets depressed and his grades in school are negatively affected. Bianca becomes concerned and talks to him to try to do good in his classes. It’s at this point that Mylene comes along and sees them. She gets mad and pushes Bianca, making Miguel angry with his mom and saying: “I hate you”. Mylene slaps him.
