LJ is also getting good feedback for her first try in theatre, “Juego de Peligro,” now on its last week at the CCP and where she acts with Shamaine Buencamino, Arnold Reyes, Lharby Policarpio and Vin Abrenica. “Ibang klaseng fulfilment ang ibinibigay ng acting sa teatro kaysa sa TV or movie. Nag-enjoy ako sa discipline ng stage people and I wish makagawa pa ako ng other plays in the future.”
On TV, she continues to shine in “Yagit” as Flora, the villainous stepmom of Jocelyn and Tomtom. “I’d really like to thank our director, Gina Alajar, kasi siya ang tumulong para buuin ko ang character ko. Binago namin ang boses ko, the way I talk and even ang lakad ko. Hindi ko magagawa nang tama si Flora without her help.” She’s very much contented with her life right now, including being a mom to her love son, Aki, who’s now five years old. She’s also in good terms with Aki’s dad, Paulo Avelino.“We’re friends at pareho kaming nagtutulong sa pagpapalaki kay Aki. Tanggap na ng anak naming magkahiwalay ang tirahan namin ng ama niya. Kundi kami aalis, balak sunugin yun. Also, si Bettina Carlos as Izel, panay ang pananakit kay Chalui Malayao as Elisa. Pinalayas pati ang driver na nagtatanggol doon sa bata. Pagtatangkaan siyang tulungan ni Kevin Santos as Kardo peto babalaan itong babarilin ni Izel. Reunited naman si Zymic Jaranilla as Ding sa kanyang lasenggang inang si Shermaine Santiago as Ethel.”
