International Hit 'It Takes Gutz To Be A Gutierrez' Now Shown On Tv5 Every Saturday 7Pm

THE LAST EPISODE of “It Takes Gutz to be a Gutierrez” on E! Channel showed twins Richard and Raymond Gutierrez having a fight. “Dahil doon, my friends told me, may sibling rivalry pala yung kambal mo,” says dad Eddie Gutierrez.

The episode ended without showing how the fight was resolved. “When you watch tonight, doon nyo makikita kung ano ang nangyari sa amin ni Richard after that,” says Raymond.

What really caused the fight? “Well, siguro, ilang days na rin kasi kami doon sa cruise ship, so feeling ko, nababaliw na kami, nagpakapikunan lang. I was always teasing him kasi, e pinatulan niya ako tapos nag-walk out.”

Richard butts in. “Sinabi ko nga sa director namin, tanggalin na lang yun. Pero yung mga ganun nga raw ang gusto ng viewers. Yung spontaneous ang lahat. Pero kami naman, madali ring magkabati.”

Because of the exposure they get in E! Channel, a top Singapore fashion magazine got the twins to be models for a Louis Vuitton pictorial. “We went there in the morning, did the shoot, then we returned to Manila in the evening,” says Raymond. “We’re also getting an agent for any possible projects there. We’ll shoot the second season soon kasi E! wants to keep the momentum. They’re going to Palawan and Bohol, but ako, I’m going to London to study at Central St. Martins University of the Arts. I will take a 3-week course in Trend Forecasting, which teaches how to be more intuitive to predict the next trends. I will also study marketing as I intend to put up my own fashion line next year.”

Their reality show’s being shown on TV5 is a big change for Richard. “Kasi for so many years sa GMA lang ako napapanood, but now, nasa TV5 na ako and not only that, I’m also guesting in ABS-CBN’s ‘Banana Split’, so abangan nyo rin yun.”
