Rafa Siguion Reyna Glad To Be The Son Of Bibeth Orteza & Carlitos Siguion Reyna

BEING introduced in “Nino” is Rafa Siguion Reyna, the son of Director Carlitos Siguion Reyna and scriptwriter-actress-director Bibeth Orteza. He’s also the grandson of producer-actress Armida Siguion Reyna. Like her cousin Cris Villonco, Rafa has tried stage acting in “Grease”. He has also danced as a contestant in TV5’s “Celebrity Dance Battle” and did a guest role in “Vampire ang Daddy Ko” with Solenn Heussaff.

Rafa now plays the henchman of Jay Manalo, the bad guy in “Nino”, his first regular soap. How is it to have formidable relatives in showbiz? “It’s great kasi they can guide me in my career,” he says. “They’re my first and foremost critics.”

Rafa studied acting in New York. He also sings and dances well. He’s glad to be working as Jay Manalo’s assistant in the story as Jay helps him with his Tagalog lines. Among local actresses, he’d like to work with Solenn Heussaff and Isabelle Daza of GMA-7 and Jasmine Curtis Smith of TV5.
