Vhong Navarro Happy Over Arrest Of Cedric Lee And Zimmer Raz

VHONG NAVARRO refused to grant any interviews about the arrest of Cedric Lee and Zimmer Raz in Oras, Samar. The two guys who are wanted for the charge of illegal detention without bail filed against them said they surrendered, but it’s obvious they were just cornered and no longer had a choice. If they willingly surrendered, they could have done it in Manila, not in far away Samar, which ironically, is the home province of Vhong’s manager, Chito Rono, who is so determined in pursuing the case to give justice to Vhong.

Still being hunted down by cops are Deniece Cornejo and the other guys accused of beating up Vhong savagely. The two other women who accused Vhong of also raping them must be cowering in fear now as most people were saying even then that they were just paid to aggravate Vhong’s situation. With the ringleader Cedric now behind bars, what will happen to them?

As for Vhong, his lawyer, Atty. Alma Mallonga, said they’re happy with the arrest of Cedric and Vhong. “At least ngayon, magiging mabilis na ang pagsulong ng kaso,” she says. “It’s important na may maaresto so that Vhong can testify at nang mabigyan nang hustisya ang ginawa sa kanya.”

As of now, Atty. Howard Calleja, the lawyer of Cedric and Deniece, has made himself scarce. He used to be very cooperative in giving interviews to the media. The advice of a lot of people is for him to convince Denice to voluntarily surrender. “Mas kahiya-hiya kapag na-apprehend siya ng mga pulis at ipinakitang dinakip sa kunsaan mang pinagtataguan niya,” they say.
